My selection this weekend comes from the Scottish League Twas Peterhead travel the long road south to face Annan.
The Blue Toon have chased leaders Edinburgh City all season but went top after the capital club side slipped up last weekend – with a game in-hand on their rivals, it’s a chance for them to kick-on.
Peterhead have only lost one of their last eight league games, so coming into this game in good form.
Annan occupy fourth in the table but are a massive 16 points behind Saturday opponents. Annan won 2-1 at Edinburgh City last weekend so they’ll be full of confidence but come up against, in my opinion, the best side in the division.
The sides have faced each other twice already this season with Peterhead winning on both occasions so I’m hoping for more of the same on Saturday. Peterhead are (20/21 Boylesports).
