DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) shares his best bets from Saturday's Scottish action.
Celtic v Dundee | Saturday 22nd December 2018, 15:00
It's Celtic's turn to lead the way in the Premiership and they should be on top of the tree for Christmas. Brendan Rodgers' side bounced back from a horror defeat at Hibs to cruise to three points against Motherwell.
Now the Bhoys have been handed a festive gift by the fixture compilers – a home game against Dundee.
Their mini revival ended at Kilmarnock last week and was followed by a crushing 5-1 loss at Aberdeen in midweek. Eight goals conceded in two away games must be a concern for Jim McIntyre but they will face a strikerless Celtic with Odsonne Edouard out with the injury he picked up against Well.
Celtic are no bigger than 1/8 with bet365 but Dundee have given them tough tests at Parkhead over the last two seasons – two one-goal defeats and two 0-0 draws.
The Hoops could struggle for fluency with no focal point in attack so Celtic and Under 3.5 Goals is the call at 23/20 with Betway.
Dunfermline v Ayr | Saturday 22nd December 2018, 15:00
In the Championship the best bets have to be Ayr at 6/5 with Marathon at East End Park.
Ian McCall's men blew a 3-1 lead at home to nearest rivals Ross County last week but should bounce back against a Pars side who have won one in five and failed to score in three of those matches.
Arbroath v Raith | Saturday 22nd December 2018, 15:00
There's a top-of-the-table clash in League One as Arbroath welcome Raith.
Arbroath are unbeaten and lead by 13 points so the title race is probably over and a home win will seal the deal.
Back the Gayfield men at evens with BetVictor.
