Kelty have been getting the job done nicely over the last few weeks, despite being without the prolific Nathan Austin, who has been injured.
The guys that play in-behind or off the striker have been in fine form – Joe Cardle, Kallum Higginbotham, Jamie Barjonas and Michael Tidser, have been dominating games for Kevin Thomson's side. A new addition to the starting line-up was Aberdeen loanee Connor Barron – he had an impressive debut in midfield, and further strengthens the squad.
Forfar, relegated from League One last season, have started their League Two campaign well with 2/2 wins. Though in the first half of the win against Edinburgh City last weekend, the Forfar defence did give City quite a few chances that they managed to spurn.

Cove Rangers vs East Fife | Saturday 14th August 2021, 15:00
Last week at Firhill, Cove lost out 2-0 to Queens Park. The game turned on the stroke of half-time when Fraser Fyvie got himself sent off for a bad challenge. Up until that point, Paul Hartley's men had been the better side. The Spiders took advantage of the extra man, scoring twice and dominating the second period.
East Fife came unstuck in their game last time out – losing 3-1 to Alloa at the Innodrill Stadium. Darren Young, despite a commendable opening day draw at home to Queens Park, is still trying to bring in a few players to strengthen his starting XI.
What is really noticeable about the Fifers, is the goals they concede away. They are leaking just over two goals per-road-trip on average. In fact, we have to go back to February 2020 to find an away clean sheet for the visitors. That is a 13-match sequence now without a shut out.
After arguably playing the toughest two opponents in their opening two games, Cove will see this as must-win game, against a side that look destined for the bottom half of the division. Mitch Megginson and co will be looking to score a few goals, and get the Aberdeen outfit's league season properly up-and-running.
