Premier League Betting Tips: Goals on the agenda at 3pm

0

SATURDAY 3pm Premier League kick-offs are back on the agenda and we asked value hunter Daniel McCulloch (@DMcCulloch1984) to share his favourite fancies from MD6.

Leicester vs Burnley | Saturday 25th September 2021, 15:00

It has been a surprising start to the Premier League for Leicester City, and not in a good way. Brendan Rodgers' side are yet to put together a strong performance for 90 minutes, were fortunate to beat both Wolves and Norwich and have conceded far too many chances.
They've managed just one clean sheet in their five matches to date and have conceded eight goals in their last four games. They've also faced 27 shots on target to date this season, a tally exceeded by just four Premier League clubs.
They've managed just 13 shots on target themselves so they clearly have trouble at both ends of the pitch.
Brendan Rodgers has an excellent record as Foxes boss so he won't be panicking but he surely will be targeting a return to winning ways against Burnley.
I am not certain they will achieve that but do like the angle of both teams to score, which is available at 20/21 with MansionBet.
While Leicester's shot tally is low, they do still have a lot of attacking threat and their performance when 2-0 down to Brighton last weekend was a lot more encouraging. Moreover, they've only failed to score in one of their five league games this season, so it is not as if they are drawing blanks regularly.
Their opponents, Burnley, are rather unfortunate to have just one point to their name. They were at least a match for Brighton, Arsenal and Everton and will feel they deserved at least a point from each of those fixtures.
BTTS has obliged in three of their five fixtures to date (only failing in Liverpool and Arsenal matches) and their tally of 18 shots on target deserves mode than the three goals they've managed to date. Additionally, the 28 shots on target they've faced is the fourth highest in the league, so with two defences that are struggling to prevent shots (and goals) facing, I am happy to get almost Evens on both teams netting.

Anytime goalscorers

I couldn't find a card angle so have gone with two anytime goalscorer picks.
The first is Michail Antonio, who is 8/5 with MansionBet against Leeds. Antonio has four goals in four league matches this season and has the third most shots in the league, behind Liverpool pair Sadio Mane and Mo Salah.
This weekend West Ham face a Leeds side who have conceded 12 goals in their first five matches this season.
Leeds have faced seven shots on target per game on average this season. While that is slightly skewed by hammerings against Liverpool and Manchester United, Newcastle managed that tally last week and I think West Ham have more attacking threat than Steve Bruce's side.
Antonio was suspended for Hammers defeat to Manchester United but I expect him to be back among the goals trail on Saturday afternoon.
Allan Saint-Maximum is my second pick, available at 10/3 with Bet365 to score against Watford.
His career record will suggest that this is a questionable bet but he does have two goals from five league fixtures this season and is taking on more responsibility in the absence of Callum Wilson.
ASM was a constant threat against Leeds last week and certainly could have had more than the one goal. I expect this to be a breakthrough year for the forward and don't expect prices like this to be available for long as his goal return improves.
