NEWCASTLE are in desperate need of points as they host Man City on Tuesday. Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79) previews the game for us.

Life's all great in the Man City camp. Their April has been incredible. Bournemouth, West Brom and Chelsea have all been dominated in the Premier League. Nine goals scored, just one conceded.
In the middle of that run was a triumphant elimination of Paris St Germain in the Champions League. City are in the semi-finals of Europe's premier competition and are all set to take on Real Madrid.
Bookmakers are certainly embalming themselves in the cologne of City glory just now as they're chalked up no bigger than 4/7 to win on Tuesday. It's not a price that appeals.
Yes, it's been a stunning April and yes they're reaching a level they probably should be at when you consider the tools at their disposal but rewind the clock back to February and March and the results are quite different.
Between February 6th and the end of March City played 10 times and won just twice. The victories came against Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League and hapless Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Half their games in that period were defeats and they were smashed up by Liverpool 3-0 and by Chelsea 5-1 in the FA Cup. It's a far cry from their current form.
After a dreadful three month period at the end of 2015 when their away form failed to produce a Premier League goal it has to be noted that things have improved. They've lost just once away from home in the league this year but no side above 10th in the league has been beaten away since May of last year.
Newcastle grabbed a crucial 3-0 win over Swansea last Saturday and while it would be dangerous to read too much into that with their opponents safe it was a significant improvement.
The Magpies have been much better at home than on their travels. They've only lost two of their last nine home games in the Premier League and have beaten Liverpool and West Ham in that spell.
At the prices and with so much at stake for the home side I have to be with them here. Saturday's win may have a positive effect on the squad and with Rafael Benintez in charge there's always hope.
As big as 11/2 to win here, I'll back them +1 on the Asian Handicap at Evens with Bet365. Yes, City could run riot but they're far too short when you factor in their domestic season overall.
