CELTIC and Rangers continue their Europa League excursions on Thursday night. Scottish football expert Mr Fixit (@MrFixitTips) previews their encounters.
RB Leipzig v Celtic | Thursday 25th October 2018, 17:55 | BT Sport
Celtic face a tough test at RB Leipzig. Brendan Rodgers's side have improved in recent weeks but their form on the road in Europe remains a concern.
The Bhoys were given a second-half runaround by Austria Vienna and the Scots could be on the end of a similar scoreline with Scott Brown's absence a blow.
The Germans netted 13 in four games before being held 0-0 at Augsburg at the weekend and I fancy them strongly at 4/9 with Ladbrokes.
If you reckon they'll win by at least two go 6/5 with Bet365 while Leipzig and Both Teams To Score pays 15/8 at BetVictor.
Celtic netted first in Salzburg and are capable of notching, while a repeat of their 3-1 defeat pays 10/1 at Ladbrokes.
Germany international Timo Werner is 4/1 favourite to score first while for Celtic you can have 10/1 with BetBright on Odsonne Edouard.
Rangers v Spartak Moscow | Thursday 25th October 2018, 20:00 | BT Sport
Rangers are confident of taking care of Spartak Moscow at Ibrox.
The Teddy Bears tackle managerless Spartak with strikers Kyle Lafferty and Alfredo Morelos available before serving a ban in Sunday's Betfred Cup semi-final, so maybe Steven Gerrard will start with both up top.
If it's just one, back whoever starts to score first.
The Russians are a decent side but arrive in Glasgow low on confidence and suffering a mini crisis.
To win and put themselves in with a great chance of qualifying, the Ibrox men are 5/4 with Betfred, while Rangers draw no bet is safer at 13/20 with Marathon.
I’ll play it slightly safer by supporting Rangers with a +1 handicap (7/20 Betway). If we double this selection with an RB Leipzig victory, even-money is available with Bet365.
Best Bets
RB Leipzig v Celtic – RB Leipzig to win
Rangers v Spartak Moscow – Rangers +1 handicap
Back the double (1/1 Bet365)
