ANOTHER big winner for Sky Sports’ Joe Drabble (@Joe_Drabs) yesterday with a 13/2 shot banking for WeLoveBetting readers. So what’s he on next?
New Zealand v Australia | Saturday 01.00 | Sky Sports 2
A dress rehearsal for the World Cup final? These fierce Trans-Tasman rivals meet in the early hours of Saturday in what could be the match of the tournament so far in Auckland.
There is certainly no love-lost between these two nations and both have unbeaten records in the competition to protect. New Zealand start as outsiders despite winning all three group matches convincingly, while Australia haven't played since the opening day of the competition due to rain. I'm struggling to pick a winner so instead, I'm going for sixes… and lots of them!
The venue: Eden Park, Auckland, is one of the smallest in world cricket. Primarily a rugby ground, its boundaries (especially straight down the ground) are tiny. In the last ODI played there (NZ v India in 2014) a whopping 24 sixes were scored. Big hitters such as David Warner, Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, Brendan McCullum and Corey Anderson will be licking their lips and I'm happy to take on the Over 14.5 Sixes spread offered by William Hill at 5/6.
I always enjoy a Man of the Match punt too and here I'm looking at Glenn Maxwell at 16/1 with Coral.
Best Bets
New Zealand v Australia – Over 14.5 Sixes (5/6 William Hill)
New Zealand v Australia – Glenn Maxwell to be Man of the Match (16/1 Coral)
