Big European nights resume at Parkhead on Thursday evening when Bodo/Glimt arrive in Glasgow as the Europa Conference League knockout stages get underway.
Kjetil Knutsen’s visitors are weaker going into this season after losing Patrick Berg to Lens, Erik Botheim to Krasnoder and Frerik Andre Bjorkan to Hertha Berlin. So it’s a rebuild this pre-season for the Norwegian champions.
However, the Hoops are in fine fettle going into this, and are on a 17-game unbeaten run – since being edged out in Leverkusen in late November. Celtic have an impressive home record currently, and have only lost to the Germans in their last 28 games in the city's East End.
The eye-catching stat over the last three months has been the Bhoys ability to put teams to the sword early on in games. Fourteen of 16 of Ange Postecoglou’s mens recent matches have saw the Celts go in ahead at the break.
