ROSS Casey (@rosscasey24) takes a view on the Bournemouth v Tottenham game this Sunday afternoon. After finding three winners on site this week, can he end with another?
Bournemouth v Tottenham | Sunday 11th March 2018, 16:00 | Sky Sports
Tottenham will be looking to avenge the 2-1 defeat they suffered at the hands of Juventus in midweek, where they crashed out of the Champions League, whilst Bournemouth are hoping to win their first Premier League fixture against Spurs at the sixth time of asking.
Spurs
After yet another disappointing exit from European competition, I am expecting Tottenham to be a bit of a wounded animal on Sunday and that doesn't end well for Bournemouth.
Only one time this season have Tottenham suffered back to back defeats and that is proof that they can bounce back from disappointments and put on a good performance to make amends after. The fact they have won four of their five Premier League matches against The Cherries is a plus of course – as well as the fact they have kept clean sheets in four of those matches too!
Bournemouth
Despite their poor form against Tottenham of no wins, one goal, four defeats and one draw in five games, those are of course all in the past and The Cherries come into this one six points clear of the relegation zone and hoping to add further misery to Spurs' week.
Their home form is consistently inconsistent this season with five wins, four draws and five losses from 14 matches, but their recent form is decent. They have lost just two of their last 12 games, included in that sequence are wins over Arsenal and Chelsea.
Tottenham won't take Bournemouth lightly on the back of that recent run!
Betting angles
Harry Kane has netted in nine of his last 12 matches and has an excellent record excellent The Cherries. He has scored six goals in just five games against them, including a hat-trick at The Vitality Stadium back in 2015. I am expecting more from him on Sunday – so back him to net first at a nice looking best Premier League betting price of 12/5 with Betvictor.
Both teams have scored in 10 of the last 12 Bournemouth matches, whilst Tottenham have conceded in five of their last six. For that reason, BTTS appeals to me with a best price of 8/11 with Betfred appeals
