Bookings: Two final day League Two bets to believe in

CARD king Gavin Murphy (@GamePlanGavin) is back to attack the final day of the League Two season on Saturday.

League Two Final Day | Saturday 17:30

The League Two season draws to a close on Saturday evening and I believe I've sourced some value from two matches. First up a nothing game between Crewe and Barnet. Both are safe in mid table.

Crewe are the lowest card collectors in the division averaging one per game. Barnet aren't much better averaging just 1.5 per game.

John Brooks in the referee here. He can be hot with a season average of 4.8 per game. However, his last four outings have seen him issue cards of 0-2-2-2.

Hopefully he will continue that trend in this match. Consequently the 8/5 offered by William Hill on under 25pts looks worth chancing.

Wycombe v Cambridge

A much more meaningful match will be taking place between Wycombe and Cambridge United at Adams Park.

The hosts are 11th position in the table and the visitors 9th. However, each have 66 points and can still get into the play offs if results go their way. Both will have to go for it here and that bodes well.

Wycombe average 1.64 cards per game this term and the U's 1.15. There were six cards shown in the meeting between these two teams in November.

Mark Haywood is the official and he averages 4.89 cards per game. He has shown 13 cards in his last two games and 17 in his last three appearances so has a hot hand at present.

I'm backing him to keep the cards coming. Over 45pts is 19/20 with William Hill and that gets the call. I'll also be doing the double which pays just over 4/1.

If you’re new to Bookings Points, a yellow card earns 10 points and a red card earns 25 points. If a player receives 2 yellow cards and is consequently shown a red card, he receives a total of 35 Bookings Points.

Best Bets

Crewe v Barnet – Under 25 Bookings Points (8/5 William Hill)

Wycombe v Cambridge – Over 45 Bookings Points (19/20 William Hill)

About Author

I first got interested in gambling through my cousin. He's a professional gambler and got me hooked as a teenager when you had to pay the 9% tax. Who remembers that?! These days I prefer to specialise on one market rather than spread myself too thinly. Hence my love of cards! Hopefully I can make others a few bob in the process of sharing my bets on WeLoveBetting. On a personal note I love most sports especially cricket, rugby and NFL. I support Tottenham and all things Welsh and outside of sport I enjoy reading autobiographies particularly with a glass of good wine!
