Thursday night Spurs action yet again as they travel to Belgium to face Anderlecht. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have picked up four points out of six so far in this group with a comfortable win over Qarabag preceding a draw in Monaco. They look in better shape than Anderlecht.
The Belgians lost in Baku to Qarabag three weeks ago after drawing 1-1 at home to Monaco two weeks previous to that. They lie third in the Belgian league and there’s just a suspicion their season just hasn’t clicked into gear yet.
One concerning stat for Spurs is the fact they won only one of their four away games in last season’s competition but I think they’re worth chancing here for a narrow one goal win at decent odds of 31/10 with Boyelsports.
Arsenal won by exactly a goal in Belgium against Anderlecht in last season’s Champions League and the Belgians seem to have regressed since then.
