MAN City need to get back to winning ways. Is this their chance? Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79) previews the match for us.
Man City v West Ham | Sunday 13:30 | Sky Sports 1
Thankfully I'm out for a birthday lunch (not mine) with friends on Sunday so I won't be exposed to this game. It looks a dire encounter, featuring two sides just gagging for the end of the season.
In many ways though it's a must win for Man City and I think they'll achieve that. They may even run amok and bang in goals left, right and centre to release all the tension of the last few months. But I don't think they will.
I'm taking a plunge on the Total Goals market for this game and siding with 2-3 Goals at a tempting 11/8 with Bet Victor.
This bet stems from my belief that West Ham won't score in this match. In many ways they are the most uninspiring side in the division at the moment. In the Champions League hunt at Christmas, fighting to stay in the top half in the Spring.
Their away record really is awful. Just one league win on the road since October and in four of the last seven matches they failed to score. Thing are not good at the Boleyn Ground and I can't see them doing much in this game.
Troubling times for Man City as well, but they know a slip-up here could threaten a Top 4 finish and they should be professional enough to get the job done. Their last two home matches were 2-0 and 3-0 wins and that would be perfect for my bet here.
