AFTER a glorious North London derby win on Saturday can Tottenham continue on the winning path against Liverpool on Tuesday. Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79) previewed the game for us.

Liverpool v Tottenham | Tuesday 20:00 | BT Sport 1

This looks the pick of the bunch amongst the ten Premier League matches this midweek and after their heroics on Saturday all eyes will be on Tottenham here.

Even as an outsider it's hard not to notice a joyous triumphant vibe amongst Spurs fans just now. Saturday's North London derby win saw them overtake rivals Arsenal in the table and rejoin the Top 5. Forget Harry Styles, it's all about Harry Kane at the moment, as the media purr over this odd looking terribly voiced wonderful fearless young man.

My issue with Spurs in this mode, is that inevitably it's going to fall apart. It's a mid-30's thing you see, things never quite work out for the Seven Sisters club. After they blitzed past Chelsea 5-3 on New Years Day, I was keen to take them on a week later against Crystal Palace and they'd read the script by losing 2-1 that night. The Hangover Effect I call it.

I can definitely sense another hangover on Tuesday night, but more of the physical rather than mental kind. Surely that rambunctious emotional win on Saturday will takes it's toll at some point if Mauricio Pochetino plays the same 11 here?

Liverpool have been chalked up at 10/11 best price with William Hill and that's just too short for me to get involved with. They're up against a quality side here and I can't have them at odds on.

Brendan Rodgers' side were flat on Saturday against Everton and it may be that the exertions of going far in both domestic Cup competitions are taking a toll.

My central view for this match, is that we won't see a classic and the 6/5 with Betfair on Under 2.5 Goals is what I like here. Seven of Liverpool's last eight games have gone Under 2.5 Goals, the exception being that late smash and grab against Bolton last week.

Under 2.5 Goals isn't something you associate with Tottenham games. In fact just one of their last eight games fulfilled that criteria, but I'm willing to take a chance here. Spurs also have had a gruelling schedule to contend with and it could catch up with them here under the Anfield lights.
