This should be a cracking watch today at midday. The Jam Tarts have been mixing it in the top three with Rangers and Celtic, since the season commenced.

Indeed, the Jambos put down a marker in their opening game at Tynecastle, with a deserved 2-1 defeat of the Hoops.

Since then, Robbie Neilson’s men are undefeated in Gorgie, with an impressive W5 D3 record.

Star midfielder Beni Baningime will miss out through injury, though Hearts should still have a strong line up this lunchtime.

Rangers have been solid, if unspectacular of late. They come into this after a creditable 1-1 in Lyon on Thursday night, in what was ultimately a dead rubber.

The Gers have looked vulnerable this season, especially on the road.

With Tynecastle guaranteed to be raucous, mainly with home fans, this will be one of the Teddy Bears toughest tasks of the season away from Ibrox.

I just feel with the hosts excellent home record, and the fact that they’ve shown no fear against either of the Old Firm, this season (drew 1-1 at Ibrox), perhaps we could be in for a bit of a shock result here.

So, with Bet 365 offering 5/1 about a Jambos victory, I’m quite happy to put this up as a sporting selection, in a game that could be closer than the odds suggest.
