The Queen Mother Champion Chase is the highlight of Day 2 and the race I've been looking forward to more than anything else. Unfortunately, Altior is a late detection, but that just makes the task at hand easier for my selection.
Defi Du Seuil (5/4 Ladbrokes) is my selection here and I am super confident about him. His Cheltenham Festival record is perfect (Triumph Hurdle and JLT) and his record at the track is exceptional.
If you excuse his second season as a hurdler where he was never right his over profile is top class. He was beaten by Chacun Pour Soi last season, however that form may be suspect (Defi long season and Chacun fresh) and this season's form indicates Defi has progressed further.
He is a confident selection to gain a third Festival victory.
