My selection this weekend comes from Scottish League Two as Edinburgh City host Brechin on Saturday afternoon.
Edinburgh City are some pundits' favourites to win promotion this season but they didn’t get off to the best of starts last weekend, losing 5-0 at well-fancied Cove Rangers.
The result was a freak in my eyes, although I do believe Cove are capable of doing that to most teams this term. City ended the match with nine men, which I think made the result clear-cut than anticipated.
Brechin were relegated last season and are on a run of 12 games without a win, that goes back to the end of March. The visitors started their league campaign with a 1-0 loss at home to Annan.
I’m backing Edinburgh City to get their season started this weekend by taking all three points at home at 10/11 (Betfred).
