CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL fanatic Graeme Johnston (GraemeJ_83) offers his thought's on Friday's opener, the Triumph Hurdle.
Triumph Hurdle | Friday 15th March 2019, 13:30 | ITV1
The Triumph Hurdle gets us underway on the final day and despite 14 lining up its produced one of the shortest Triumph Hurdle favourites in recent years, and what many see as the Irish banker of the meeting.
Sir Eric (11/10 BetVictor) was high class on the flat for Aiden O'Brien and after winning a listed race he ended his flat season off with a third place in the Long Distance Cup at Ascot’s Champions meeting.
He was a cut above any of these on the flat and he's two from two over hurdles so far. I feel like he would need to underperform to not win here and he should get Day 4 off to a flyer.
