DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) shares his best bet from Saturday's Scottish action.

Alloa v Morton | Saturday 12th January 2019, 15:00

With no Premiership games last week it proved tough to pick winners in Scotland.

The opening of the transfer window contributed to shock results with the likes of Ross County, Ayr, Dundee Utd, Peterhead and Edinburgh City all slipping up.

Alloa’s 2-2 draw at Dunfermline earned Pars gaffer Allan Johnston the sack and the Wasps are at home to a Morton side who took the scalp of leaders County.

Alloa are again holding their own this season and are unbeaten in five, including three 2-2 draws, with only one game of that streak not landing btts.

Morton will be feeling better after beating County and while I can’t see them winning they can get on the scoresheet.

Take both teams to net at 5/6 with bet365.

Queen of the South v Ross County | Saturday 12th January 2019, 15:00

County were awful in last Friday’s live game on BBC Alba and will need to improve if they’re to win at Queens who hit two late goals to nick the points at Inverness.

Queens are big at 3/1 with bet365 and I’m backing them not to lose at 5/6 with Betfair.

Queen’s Park v Edinburgh City | Saturday 12th January 2019, 15:00

League Two leaders City’s title charge has suffered a dip with five points dropped in the last two games.

But they can roar back to form at Hampden against struggling Spiders.

The third-bottom hosts are without victory in six games and City’s class can make the difference so go for the away win at 11/10 with Ladbrokes.

Best Bets

Alloa v Morton – Both Teams To Score (5/6 Bet365)

Queen of the South v Ross County – Queen of the South double chance (5/6 Betfair)

Queen’s Park v Edinburgh City – Edinburgh City to win (11/10 Ladbrokes)
