FOOTBALL JOURNALIST Adam Goodwin (@agjournalism) has analysed the Champions League contest between PSV Eindhoven and Tottenham on Wednesday night in search of value.

PSV have started their domestic season in superb fashion, winning every single one of their opening nine games this campaign. They seem to be scoring goals for fun at the moment, bagging 28 goals in six games in the Eredivise.
Wing duo Hirving Lozano and Steven Bergwijn are the danger men for Rood-witten and the Tottenham full-backs will have to be on high-alert with those two charging at them at full pace.
Despite an unbelievable start to their league season, Mark van Bommel’s side have lost both of their games in the Champions League. They didn’t win a game in this competition when they last participated in it in 2016, and it could easily happen again this season.
With a group consisting of Barcelona, Inter Milan and Spurs, this could be their best chance for three points in Group B. PSV did beat Manchester United at home in the Champions League in 2015 and they’ll need to put in a similarly brilliant performance here if they’re to get anything.
Despite flitting in-and-out of the top four so far this season, Tottenham’s performances have been pretty flat and they were lucky to get all three points against West Ham on Saturday. Harry Kane hasn’t been very prolific in recent weeks and with their injury list piling up, perhaps this is a game where PSV can get at Tottenham.
Along with PSV, Spurs are without a win in the Champions League so far this season. You could argue that they were unlucky not to get anything in both games against Inter Milan and Barcelona, but they’re pointless and need something from this game in Eindhoven.
The betting angle
With PSV’s superb domestic goal record this campaign, you’d imagine they’d get on the scoresheet here and the last time Tottenham failed to score was 5th May against West Brom. So, even without Harry Kane in top form for Spurs, you’d definitely fancy Both Teams To Score at 11/18 with 10BET.
My best bet, however, is both teams to score no draw at 6/5 with Sky Bet. This will pay out if either side wins and both sides get on the scoresheet and, with a loss for either side leaving them all but out of the Champions League, it’ll be a game that both teams could do with winning.
