SNOOKER specialist George Weyham (@GWSnookerTips) couldn't resist a couple of barely-believable prices when looking at the first round of English Open action on Tuesday.

Hardly any bookies are quoting the first round matches of the English Open that starts Monday, but I'm shell shocked to see Elliot Slessor at 1/2 with Betfair to defeat Sean O'Sullivan. In my opinion, Slessor should be a 1/5 shot here.
Sean is winless this season, with seven defeats from seven. He's also been whitewashed on four occasions, once by a little-known amateur.
His overall confidence must be wilting. If you exclude the one-frame Shoot-Out, O'Sullivan’s lost 23 main tour matches in a row. His last win was 1st August 2017 – Slessor has won 20 times in that period.
Slessor is a very good player. He likes these events too – he made the semis in Northern Ireland and the Last 16 in Scotland last season. Don't forget he beat Ronnie O'Sullivan twice last season too.
There's a mammoth gulf between the two players, even though Betfair don't agree, for some reason. The 1/2 (Betfair) won't last long so snap it up whilst you can.
If you don't like the 1/2, the -1.5 frames start for Slessor at 5/6 is very tempting as O'Sullivan hasn't covered the handicap in any match this season. Meanwhile, 4-0 frames correct score Slessor at 6/1 is also worth a play with Betfair.
