GROUP B of the 2018 World Cup concludes on Monday with Spain taking on Morocco in Kaliningrad. Fresh from a 5/1 winner, Dan McCulloch (@danmcc84) outlines his best bets.

Surely only Peru can argue that they have been more unfortunate than Morocco so far in this tournament? The Atlas Lions deserved at least a point from each of their first two matches in Group B which would have made this tie even more fascinating, with all four sides still in with a shout of qualifying.
Sadly it wasn’t to be for Herve Renard’s men and their elimination has been confirmed without them even finding the net.
A drubbing unlikely
Despite knowing that they will be returning to North Africa a lot earlier than planned, I still believe that Morocco will remain competitive in this encounter and, while I believe that Spain will ultimately prevail, I would be surprised if they embarrassed their opponents.
La Roja deserved to beat Iran in their previous fixture, but I feel that a single-goal victory was about right and believe we will see a similar margin of victory in Kaliningrad.
Despite the excellent decade they have enjoyed at major tournaments, Spain have now scored three goals or more in just three of their last 28 matches at such events and I do not see them achieving this feat against a Morocco side with such a formidable defensive record.
I feel like Renard’s charges efforts have merited a goal and wouldn’t rule one out in this game. It is for that reason that I will take the 20/21 BetVictor offer for a Spain victory and Under 3.5 Goals to be scored. This was a winner against Iran and I believe it will be so again.
I would also recommend looking at the 2-0/2-1 prices on the exchange come kick-off but at the current odds I will stick with the less risky option.
