My final selection of the season comes from the Scottish Premiership on Sunday as Hibs welcome Rangers to Easter Road.
Hibs have had an excellent campaign in what is there first season back in the top-flight. Neil Lennon’s outfit sit fourth, three points behind their guests.
Wednesday night’s defeat to Edinburgh rivals Hearts all but ended Hibs’ hope of finishing in the top three – beating the Teddy Bears by six clear goals is there remaining opportunity.
Although Rangers have conceded a few goals in recent weeks – mainly to Celtic – I think six is a bit too much for Hibs. Still, they’ll be going all-out to try, I’m sure.
Rangers know that if they can better Aberdeen’s result (away to Celtic) on Sunday they can clinch second spot, so the Gers won’t want to get involved in a ding-dong battle.
But Hibs at home are a different animal – they’ve won their last seven Easter Road encounters and will fancy themselves to at least finish the season on a high with a win, and quite possibly by a few goals too.
So as well as backing Over 2.5 Goals at 9/10 (Marathon), I’ll also have a wee wager on Hibs winning alongside Over 2.5 Goals at a generous 13/4 (188BET).
