Scottish Football: Mr Fixit chases a third winning treble in four weeks

THE DAILY RECORD'S Mr Fixit (@mrfixitstips) picks out his three best bets in Scotland this weekend, chasing a third winning treble in four weeks.

Partick v Rangers | Saturday 12:15 | Sky Sports

Rangers head to Firhill in the Saturday lunchtime fixture and are backable at 4/5 with Paddy Power.

I said last week ‘Gers were big at about 1/2 to beat Dundee and they managed it … just.

Thistle are yet to win at home in the Premiership but have gone close many times.

Rangers usually concede but if they play anywhere near their best it should be good enough to dump the Jags.

Hearts v Motherwell | Saturday 15:00

Hearts games have been full of thrills recently – their last three have finished 3-3, 2-2 and 3-3 – and could Motherwell at home be another?

Well's top scorer Louis Moult – who bagged a double in last week's 2-0 win over Partick Thistle – will fancy his chances against the leaky Jambos rearguard.

The home side should also carve out plenty of opportunities so Both Teams To Score is the call at 13/15 with Unibet.

Airdrie v Livingston | Saturday 15:00

It's Scottish Cup day and there are some interesting ties to look although the weather may claim some victims.

This all-League One tie – second v first – should see goals with Airdrie having won five in a row while Livingston are the division's top scorers.

Livi have suffered a mini slump of back-to-back defeats but one of those was against Welsh champs TNS in the Irn-Bru Cup and they'll be fired up to get back on track in Lanarkshire.

This has the makings of a good old-fashioned exciting cup tie so take Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score at 10/11 with Coral.

Partick v Rangers – Rangers to win (4/5 Paddy Power)

Hearts v Motherwell – Both Teams To Score (13/15 Unibet)
