THE Daily Record's Mr Fixit (@mrfixittips) shares his best bets Saturday's Scottish football.
Celtic v Motherwell | Saturday 15.00
Motherwell were the last team to win at Celtic Park in the Premiership last December with Louis Moult scoring two in a 2-1 victory.
Since then they've lost 7-0 and 5-0 and prior to the victory went down 4-0. All that's missing is a 6-0 – and for speculators that pays 25/1, as does an away win at Coral.
In the current climate I know which 25/1 shot I'd prefer to back.
Celtic are no bigger than 1/7 at SkyBet but have been absolutely rampant in the league and I'm taking them to win both halves – which has landed in all three of their home league outings so far – at evens with Paddy Power.
Aberdeen v Ross County | Saturday 15.00
Aberdeen were in good form before the international break and should beat the struggling Staggies at home for the fifth time in six attempts.
County have an injury crisis up front and have mustered just one goal in their last five matches.
The Dons are going for five wins on the bounce and are worth taking in accumulators at 4/7 at Marathon.
Brechin v Alloa | Saturday 15.00
In League One Alloa start life without boss Jack Ross, who has gone to St Mirren, with a trip to Brechin in the battle of first v third.
Jim Goodwin makes his debut as the Wasps new gaffer and it should be a goal-laden game.
Five of Alloa's last six games in all competitions have seen both teams score and over 2.5 goals and for Brechin it's the same ratio.
So Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score is the call here at 4/5 with Coral.
Best Bets
Celtic v Motherwell – Celtic to win both halves (1/1 Paddy Power)
Aberdeen v Ross County – Aberdeen to win (4/7 Marathon)
Brechin v Alloa – Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score (4/5 Coral)
