DINO VITA'S (@DinoVita) bagged two winners from two to kick-off 2016/17. Can he hit the hat-trick in his latest Scottish NAP?
Morton v Dumbarton | Saturday 15:00
I'm chasing three winners from three this weekend as Morton entertain Dumbarton on Saturday.
I've been very impressed with Morton's start to the season, unbeaten in their seven games with four wins (W4-D3-L0) in their league and cup games.
Jim Duffy’s men have had excellent wins over Premiership sides Kilmarnock and Hamilton and they’ve started their Championship campaign with two draws at St Mirren and at home to Falkirk last weekend.
Morton led in both of those encounters until two late equalisers but I believe they'll get all three points on Saturday.
Dumbarton were the coupon-buster last weekend for many after recording their first win of 2016/17 by beating Dundee Utd at home.
That win ended a run of five matches without success but most alarming for Dumbarton is their road record – the visitors are yet to win away in 2016, a run that stretches back to December 2015.
The guests only picked up two triumphs on their travels last term, collecting 10 points in total on the road.
It's now 15 games away from home in all competitions I think Dumbarton's bleak away run will continue Saturday against an impressive Morton side and we see Jim Duffy’s men bag a first win of the league season.
