Lazio were held by a great Carpi performance midweek and the minnows went very close to winning. I thought we'd see goals so was disappointed with the 0-0 scoreline but certainly not in Carpi.
On Saturday they host Udinese and I'm expecting another solid display here. Fabrizio Castori's side are improving all the time. After winning away at Genoa, they held AC Milan to a draw before an unlucky defeat against Juventus. I'm happy to back them to avoid defeat in a multiple selection today.

My banker of the day is Fiorentina. They are far far better than this Lazio side despite bookies not giving enough credit to the Viola. This team play wonderful football as I've been saying on here for a long time and the fact they're just one point behind Inter in second place is no surprise to me.
Lazio have a lot of problems as we've seen in recent matches. Their 2-1 win over Inter was outstanding but could they repeat the feat here? I won't be trusting them.
Fiorentina have the second best home record in Serie A and they're only missing Federico Bernardeschi from the first team here. I'm confident they'll win with a bit in hand.
Roma v AC Milan | Saturday 19:45 | BT Sport Europe
I've been thinking all day about a Roma win. Rudi Garcia's side are probably the most unreliable team to back from a betting point of view in Italy (bit like Arsenal a few years ago) and I'm always cautious when backing them.
They're tempting to back here as opponents AC Milan have shown a lot of problems this season and their defensive solidity was exposed by Bologna last Wednesday.
The rossoneri could not provide the goals I was expecting in that match and they failed too many clear chances with Alessio Cerci and Carlos Bacca upfront.
This makes me think that Milan could be dangerous in front of goals here though as they bid to regain their scoring touch. They've scored 11 goals in 11 away matches showing regularity when it comes to goals scored and conceded.
It's also worth pointing out that Roma have conceded eight goals in eight matches whilst scoring 19 at home, that's more than two per games. This makes me think that both teams could find the net here, and I'll be backing Over 2.5 Goals.
