CAN Gavin Horsfall's (@GHorsfall) amazing run of form continue this weekend? Three anytime picks here.
Blackpool v Fleetwood | Saturday 15:00
Derby Day in the North West as Blackpool host Fleetwood. We missed the boat with Fleetwood’s QPR loanee Tarique Fosu (5/1) in midweek but the tricky winger didn’t do enough to keep him out of the Notebook for this weekend at what continues to be a backable price.
Fosu, David Ball and Everton loanee David Henen confirmed what an in-form front line they were in Tuesday’s win over Millwall, Fosu causing problems all across the Millwall back line and getting in the queue for set-piece taking duties around the box.
Coventry v Doncaster | Saturday 15:00
I’ll be at the Ricoh tomorrow expecting another home win on our imperious march towards promotion sometime around March, confident but acutely aware Coventry have looked far from defensively sound at times.
Doncaster’s recent good form may have pitted them against sides arguably regressing this season but they’ve looked to carry a decent goal threat throughout.
Surprisingly I thought Andy Williams (11/4) actually represented good value here, the former Swindon man has five in five and scored a brace for Swindon in a 3-0 win last season.
Crewe v Oldham | Saturday 15:00
Two home defeats on the bounce really puts the pressure on Oldham when they head to a buoyant Crewe on Saturday following their heroics at Colchester on Tuesday.
Six goals in his last 10 is strong form for Alex forward Ryan Colclough (5/1) who’s probably down as a right midfielder somewhere but pops up anywhere across the front line and keeps things nice and simple as well, head down and shoot.
Best Bets
Blackpool v Fleetwood – Tarique Fosu to score anytime (5/1 Bet365)
Coventry v Doncaster – Andy Williams to score anytime (11/4 Coral)
Crewe v Oldham – Ryan Colclough to score anytime (5/1 Paddy Power)
