New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles | Tuesday 01.30 | Sky Sports 1

It’s been an interesting start to the season for these two divisional rivals – the Eagles have performed well below expectations, whilst the Giants are performing above theirs.

The Eagles, as a whole, seem to be trending in the right direction at last and specifically RB DeMarco Murray. This time last year his rushing line would have been somewhere over 100 and I think he’s good value to go Over 52.5 yards in this one, at 5/6 with Paddy Power.

Last year’s #1 rusher has had a tough start to the season and he actually failed to get over 52.5 yards in his first three games combined (47 yards). I put a lot of this down to the fact that he just wasn’t getting enough carries, with 13 being his highest number in a single game.

This was finally put right in their latest game where he was given 20 carries – he delivered with 83 yards on the ground in that game.

The Giants themselves have actually been playing the run pretty well, ranking third in the league, but they’ve had a relatively easy run of RBs to play against to this point (no Murray in Dallas, LeSean McCoy injured when they played Buffalo and so on) and in their previous game 49ers RB Carlos Hyde ran for 93 yards against them.

With fellow RB Ryan Mathews limited in practice and questionable to play, hopefully Head Coach Chip Kelly will continue to feed Murray the ball and give us an easy win.
