Rangers have been letting needless points slip in recent weeks and there's a fear they'll not take the maximum needed away from Perth.

I tipped Hibs draw no bet against the Ibrox men last midweek and I was lucky that bet was voided. Gers boss Steven Gerrard branded his side's display their best of the season and striker Alfredo Morelos was hailed for causing the defence no end of grief.

But the bottom line is it finished 0-0, Morelos missed a string of good chances and Rangers were knocked off the top. The worry is if Gerrard's side play really well and don't win what happens when they're slightly off it.

Until last weekend Saints were one of the form teams in the country but a 2-1 defeat at home to Motherwell was a surprise and they'll need to pick themselves up. Their last defeat previous to that was 6-0 at home to Celtic and that will be a worry for Tommy Wright.

His players of course reacted superbly to that rout and while Rangers are justifiably hit favourites at 11/20 at 888, I reckon it could be another draw – Gers' third in four games with the other a 1-0 win at home to Hamilton.

There is no doubt the Light Blues are struggling to score with just one goal from open play in seven matches and some sitters missed.

Morelos overall has a good scoring record and is expected to bounce back. He is an industry best 19/5 to score first and 13/10 (BetVictor) o net at any time.

Saints are 17/4 to win with the draw 3/1 but all the Rangers fans I know says their team will win so I'm going with Both Teams To Score at 10/11 with Ladbrokes and Morelos to score.

Best Bets

St Johnstone v Rangers – Both Teams To Score (10/11 Ladbrokes)

St Johnstone v Rangers – Alfredo Morelos to score at anytime (13/10 BetVictor)
