Alloa v Ayr | Saturday 25th November 2017, 15:00

I’m heading down to Scottish League One on Saturday for my latest weekend wager as Alloa host Ayr.

This is the battle of the form sides in the division; Alloa have won six league and cup games on the spin whilst Ayr have W7-D2-L0 in their last nine outings.

I’m going goal-chasing and looking at Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score (1/1 Coral) with the visiting seeing three or more goals in 11 of their most recent 13 encounters, six of which even produced Over 3.5 Goals winners.

United have hit 38 goals in those 13 league games. Last weekend they won 6-2 away at non-league Banks O’Dee in the cup so they’re well accustomed to high-scoring battles.

Alloa have turned their season around after a poor start and are in a rich vein of form. They’ve also been prominent in the goals markets, notching 23 in their opening 13 fixtures, and although they’ve recorded a few clean sheets of late, they haven’t faced a side as fluent going forward as Ayr.

When these two teams met earlier in the season the match ended in a 3-3 draw so I’m hoping for something similar this weekend. Bring on the goals!
