Serie A: Both teams to oblige in Sunday night’s highlight

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with his best Sunday selections.

Bologna v Inter | Sunday 11:30 | BT Sport

Inter will try to continue their fantastic run only interrupted by a narrow defeat in Turin against Juventus here on Sunday. After a clear win against Empoli, they face a Bologna side who are clearly in their worst period of their season.

The hosts arrive from three consecutive defeats – the first against Napoli when they were thrashed 7-1, then beaten by nine-man Milan and lastly 3-1 against Sampdoria in a match that they were leading after 82 minutes.

Such terrible form should have an impact when they will face Inter on Sunday morning. As said, Inter were absolutely flying before the stop against Juventus.

Plus, the home side will be without their main striker Mattia Destro and despite Inter being without Mauro Icardi, I think the Nerazzurri have enough quality to overcome such absences to win at 4/5 (William Hill).

Pescara v Genoa | Sunday 14:00

I must back an Over 2.5 Goals (7/10 Marathon) as soon as Mr. Zdenek Zeman returns to town with Pescara.

The Czech coach is a master in goals and every passionate football fan in Italy will know his extreme mentality – a game played to attack is his only style of play.

Also betting fanatics probably had their glory days in constantly backing Overs when he was involved, something that bookies usually smell soon, consequently adjusting their prices.

On Sunday the odds on Over 2.5 Goals are still acceptable and simply for this reason I will side with a goal bet in this match.

Roma v Torino | Sunday 17:00 | BT Sport

Here, I like goals as an inevitable scenario with stats and trends heavily in our devour.

Roma are a winning machine at home, as often said, with a 100% record and 32 goals scored in just 11 games – the best average in the whole of Serie A.

It is true that they’ve improved their defensive end in recent times but Torino are one of the most difficult attacks to face, being ranked as the Serie A best attack outside the top three sides.

I think Torino are capable of scoring here, despite not being credible to come away with points against a Roma side who have showed a superb form in their last match against Villarreal.

Also, the return of Mohamed Salah and the unstoppable moment of Edin Dzeko will give a boost to the Giallorossi who should win a very entertaining match – Roma to win and Over 2.5 Goals is the bet at 19/20 (BetStars)

Milan v Fiorentina | Sunday 19:45 | BT Sport

Milan are trying to recover their old form, as they’ve started the season in a very promising manner, despite showing some inconsistency between the last two months.

Their nine-men victory in Bologna could be the key for their morale, and a draw in Rome against Lazio should not be discounted. The team is still affected by injuries, with the defensive end really damaged especially by the loss of Alessio Romagnoli.

I think they will pay for such deficiencies against a Fiorentina side who recently managed to win a difficult match in Germany against Borussia Monchengladbach.

I think both teams will exploit relative fallacies and goals at both end should come – Both Teams To Score is 4/6 (188BET).
