SEVEN winners from his last eight bets, Gavin Murphy (@GamePlanGavin) is in the form of his life. Here he eyes up a Spanish bookings bet.

Deportivo La Coruna v Espanyol | Sunday 15:00 | Sky Sports 2

I'll be kicking off my Sunday betting with a punt in the Deportivo La Coruna v Espanyol match in Northern Spain on Sunday. There's definitely an angle to exploit.

The whiste-blower in this one is Jose Sanchez. As has been a theme in this column lately there is a pattern of blooding inexperienced refs in low profile games like this.

Sanchez has officiated just two La Liga games and dished out 16 yellows in the process. If we take a larger sample of his work including Segunda Division matches he averages 7.6 cards per game.

Espanyol are historically one of Spain's dirtiest teams and this term is no different. They average 3.2 cards per game while Deportivo are currently at 2.6. I'm getting involved with over six cards at 5/4 with William Hill.
