Scottish Play-Off Tips | 9th May 2015

IT’S a big weekend of Scottish play-off action. We asked Dino Vita (@VitaDino) for his best weekend bet.

Alloa v Brechin | Saturday 15:00

My selection this weekend comes from the Scottish Championship play-off between Alloa and Brechin.

Alloa managed to avoid the drop in what was almost a relegation play-off in its own right with a 3-0 victory at home to relegation rivals Cowdenbeath on the last game of the regular season.

That was followed by a 2-0 first leg play off win away to Brechin on Wednesday that stands them in great stead going into this second leg.

Brechin face an uphill battle after losing that first leg, up against a strike force that includes a former £5million pound striker in Michael Chopra and top scorer Liam Buchanan.

For this reason I think Alloa will be too strong at home and can build on their first leg victory to reach the final of Scotland’s Championship play-off!
