IT'S simple. We asked Willie Duncan (@Willie_Duncan) for his best bet in Scotland this weekend and this is what he came up with.

Queen Of The South v Hibs | Saturday 15:00

It’s not often that I’ve got a kind word to say about Hibernian – but I can’t resist the juicy 5/4 quotes on offer for the Hibees to pick up all three points against Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Yes, Alan Stubbs’ side have really struggled against the Doonhammers thus far this season and, in fact, are still looking for their first goal of the season against Queen of the South, having suffered a 1-0 defeat at Palmerston Park back in September, before being forced to settle for a 0-0 draw at Easter Road in November.

I’m expecting it to be a very different story this weekend, though, as the Hibees have certainly hit the goal trail in recent weeks, having scored an impressive sixteen goals in their last five matches – including five at home against Cowdenbeath last weekend.

Teenage striker Jason Cummings is brimming with confidence at the moment after scoring six goals in five games for the Hibees and he will definitely fancy his chances of adding to his tally against James Fowler’s men on Saturday afternoon.

There’s no doubt that Queen of the South are a very good side and I fancy them to sneak into the Championship play-offs again this season – which would be a fantastic achievement for the Doonhammers.

However, since a famous 2-0 win over Rangers at Palmerston last month, Queens have gone off the boil a bit, having picked up just one win in their last four matches and they seem to be struggling to find their best form at present.

Therefore, I’ll be letting my head rule my heart on Saturday and holding my nose for long enough to back Hibs to win against Queen of the South as my best bet from Scotland this weekend!

  1. When Willie is tips the Hibees you know it’s a serious punt to be on.

For me it looks a BTTS match so I’ll be on that. Good luck with the tip.
