Team Goals Tips | 18th-19th October 2014

JIM Knight (@JimKnight88) returns with another couple of Team Over 1.5 Goals Premier League picks for us.

Hope your well guys. I've decided after the international break to take a longer-price approach to this video from now on. I won't be faffing around with Evens and 6/4 shots and will instead look for bigger price picks. I won't win every week, but I am confident that I'll be in profit over the longer term.

Arsenal v Hull | Saturday 15:00

My first pick is at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon and I'm looking at Hull. Nine points from their opening seven matches is a decent return for Steve Bruce's side, but it's in front of goal where they've been really impressive. As I mentioned last month, I'm really impressed with their summer signings like Hernandez, Diame, Ramirez and Ben Arfa. These recruits are redefining how I perceive Hull and they look a much more attacking, flair side this season. That's backed up by the fact that the Tigers have covered the Team Over 1.5 Goal line in their last five matches.

As regards Arsenal, well their defensive deficiencies are there for all to see. Chambers, Koscielny and Debuchy are all out for this game and that doesn't give Arsene Wenger much choice in that department as he failed to invest heavily in defence over the summer.

Cast your mind back to the FA Cup Final in May and Hull went 2-0 up against Arsenal pretty quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if they notched a similar number on Saturday, so I have to get involved at odds of 4/1 with Sportingbet that Hull score two or more here.

Stoke v Swansea | Sunday 16:00 | Sky Sports 1

Next up I'm looking at the live game between Stoke and Swansea on Sunday. I'm tempted by the away side but I'd rather get with them on the Team Over 1.5 Goals market. Stoke are really struggling at home this season with defeats against Aston Villa and Leicester to their name, and I think they're vulnerable to a side who major in possession and ball retention like Swansea.

Gylfi Sigurdsson has been fantastic for the Swans this season with six assists in seven games. That's more than he got in the whole of last season for Spurs and I think that bodes well for the Welsh club. Swansea are 2/1 with Coral to score two or more in this game and that's a price I like the look of.

Best Bets

Arsenal v Hull – Hull to score 2 or more goals (4/1 Sportingbet)

Stoke v Swansea – Swansea to score 2 or more goals (2/1 Coral)
