San Jose Earthquakes v Los Angeles FC| Saturday 30th March 2019, 19:30 | Sky Sports

San Jose are having a shocker so far and things don’t get any easier on Saturday night as they face a Los Angeles FC side who have had a flying start.

Three games played and three defeats for the hosts, things just aren’t clicking. The weakest squad in the entire league, in my opinion, and it’s showing as San Jose been very poor.

On the other hand, LA have 10 points from their first four games, the only blemish being a 2-2 draw away to New York City FC which in reality was a great result.

It’s a complete mismatch this one and I can see nothing but a comfortable LAFC victory. They are the stronger side in every department and they are flying whilst San Jose are performing on the complete opposite end of the scale.

Short and sweet really, a comfortable win for LA at 19/20 (Bet365), whilst Carlos Vela to score at anytime appeals at evens (Bet365).

FC Cincinnati v Philadelphia Union | Saturday 30th March 2019, 23:30

Cincinnati welcome Philadelphia in what is their second home game of their season. Their home opener proved a fantastic occasion both on and off the field. They’ve been a really good addition to MLS and I’m looking forward to watching them build on what has been a brilliant start.

Cincinnati have picked up seven points from their opening four games, with just the one defeat. A great win in their first MLS home game against Portland (3-0) followed on from picking up a point at reigning champions Atlanta in a 1-1 draw – a very impressive performance and result.

Last week Cincinnati went to New England and gained another three points by winning 2-0, again they looked comfortable in all areas of the pitch and continued to surprise many, including myself, in their debut campaign.

Philadelphia have looked average thus far, collecting four points from a possible 12. Union overcome Columbus at home last weekend with a good display but I just can’t see them coming away with anything here.

After breaking down all the factors surrounding this encounter I’m struggling to see how Cincinnati come away with anything but a win; the squad they’ve got together look to be relishing their opportunity to shine on the MLS stage and thid will be another 30,000 plus sell out in which they can continue to impress.
