Serie A: Sardinians can cause problems at San Siro

OUR man in Rome and resident Serie A expert Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) shares his best bets from Sunday's Serie A action.

Sampdoria v Frosinone | Sunday 10th February 2019, 14:00

I expect nothing else than a home win at Marassi on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts have a very decent record here, especially considering they have won last consecutive four. Plus, despite not being so reliable in defence, they score an average of two goals per-game.

This season Sampdoria have already beaten Napoli 3-0, and Frosinone should not represent a valid obstacle to them. Therefore, Sampdoria to win and Over 2.5 Goals (11/8 Ladbrokes) is my selection.

Sassuolo v Juventus | Sunday 10th February 2019, 17:00 | Premier Sports

This time, I am not backing a routine Juventus victory, since I prefer to swerve and focus just on goals in the game.

The Bianconeri are not playing with the same defensive solidity as ever: in their last three (including Coppa Italia) they have conceded seven goals to Lazio, Atalanta and Parma. They will miss Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci at centre-back, and their substitutes are not proving to be at the same level. That’s why a goal conceded is likely and I am happy to take Over 2.5 Goals (5/6 Marathon) here.

Sassuolo never refuse an open battle with an average of two goals conceded and scored every home game.

AC Milan v Cagliari | Sunday 10th February 2019, 19:30 | Premier Sports

Lastly, I am taking on Milan on Sunday evening at San Siro.

The Rossoneri are priced up too shortly in my opinion, and despite playing in the win or loss market, I am relying on Cagliari to register at least one goal in Milan.

It is true that the visitors play a very defensive approach when traveling, but the Rossoneri have proved not to be a consistent defence, despite recent improvements.

Cagliari to score Over 0.5 Goals is 10/11 (Blacktype).
