Few goals are expected at Molineux on Sunday afternoon and it’s easy to see why, with Wolves league games this season averaging just 2.1 goals per-game and Huddersfield’s 2.3.

Indeed, given that Wolves already have three 1-0 victories to their name, you can understand why that scoreline is a best price of 9/2. I actually believe that this will be more comfortable for the home side and recommend backing Wolves -1.5 on the Asian Handicap line at 9/5 with 888.

The Old Gold may have only recorded four victories from 12 league games this term, but they have been better than their results suggest. The Black Country side actually haven’t won in their last four matches but I don’t feel that tells the full story.

While Wolves were poor at home to Watford, they absolutely battered Brighton, winning the shot count 25-7 yet somehow lost 1-0. Since then they lost narrowly to Tottenham and were four minutes away from deserved victory at Arsenal.

Indeed, Wolves have played four of the Big Six already and that defeat to Spurs was their only loss. As well as the excellent performance at The Emirates, they were the better side at Old Trafford and I expect them to have too much for a stubborn but limited Huddersfield team.

The Terriers have just one win to their name so far this season and really struggle to create chances from open play. They have scored just six times this season, with four of these coming from set-pieces.

Since making their Premier League debut, Town have really struggled away from home. In 24 matches, they have scored on just 10 occasions and have lost by two goals or more 13 times.

I watched Wolves at home to Burnley a couple of months ago and was really impressed with the volume of chances they created. They had over 30 attempts on goal that day and while they only won the game 1-0, I am confident that more handsome victories will arrive shortly.

I will probably try to back 2-0 and 3-0 victories for the home side on the exchange and will certainly get involved on the handicap.
