THE PREMIER LEAGUE returns this weekend as Chelsea host Everton in the middle game on Sunday. Ross Casey (@RossCasey24) shares his betting thoughts.

Chelsea remain as one of only three unbeaten sides left in English football and continued their 100% Europa League record in Belarus in midweek.

Chelsea have lost just one of their last 17 Premier League matches and leapfrogged Liverpool into second with victory against Crystal Palace last time out.

The bookies are expecting them to pick up another three points here with a best price of 4/9 in the full-time result market.

Everton sit in ninth, some 11 points off the top of the table, but have improved dramatically since the start of the season, winning four of their last five Premier League matches. They have already lost away to Man Utd and Arsenal however, and are as big as 15/2 with bet365.

Chelsea

Chelsea are only two points away from Manchester City domestically and showing dominance and arrogance within games, even when lacklustre. They were far from their best as they beat Crystal Palace last Sunday but still managed to put three past the South London outfit.

Alvaro Morata has returned to much needed form and was rested in midweek with Olivier Giroud taking the opportunity to play in Europe.

Everton have conceded in each of their away games this season and Chelsea have scored in each of their fixtures at Stamford Bridge, so an Everton clean sheet looks out of the question. Especially as Eden Hazard is likely to start after getting minutes under his belt in midweek.

They have netted three in each of their last three at home and Everton will be wary of their attack.

Everton

Whilst the likelihood of Everton winning here is very, very slim, (they are winless in 28 here – their last win was 1994) they can certainly take confidence in the fact that Chelsea are conceding.

Chelsea have only kept two clean sheets at home all season long and with The Toffees scoring in all but one on the road, both teams to score looks a great option at 5/6.
