Serie A – Gli Azzurri are vulnerable defensively

OUR man in Rome and resident Serie A expert Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks ahead to Saturday's action, sharing his best bets from the peninsula.

Napoli v Fiorentina | Saturday 15th September 2018, 17:00

This is a huge match, with Napoli coming into this on the back of a 3-0 defeat against Sampdoria.

That was not a surprise. We’ve often seen wonderful performances from the Doriani at home and Napoli’s defence has shown weaknesses. They were exposed against Lazio and AC Milan, too.

The same could happen here. Fiorentina should be able to notch with the quality of Federico Chiesa and Giovanni Simeone upfront.

Anyway, Napoli’s offensive set up should be too much for La Viola, but I am not interested in backing either side. Over 2,5 goals looks a good thing at 37/50 (Marathon)

Frosinone v Sampdoria | Saturday 15th September 2018, 19:30

I expect Frosinone to take something from their first home match of the season. This team showed their worth in a decent Serie B campaign, and they’ve been pretty busy over the summer.

I give them a decent chance against a Sampdoria side who have poor away form under Marco Gianpaolo. The Ciociari have always found the net easily on home soil and  the Doriani concede a lot away from home.

I like both teams to score here at 4/5 (Bet365)

Best Bets

Napoli v Fiorentina – Over 2.5 goals (37/50 Marathon)

Frosinone v Sampdoria – Both teams to score (4/5 Bet365)
