SCOTTISH football expert Mr Fixit (@MrFixitTips) previews Wednesday night's Champions League contest between Rosenborg and Celtic as the Bhoys look to progress.

Celtic take centre stage on Wednesday as they try to finish off Rosenborg and reach the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

Brendan Rodgers’ men take a 3-1 lead to Norway – an advantage that could have been more after recovering from the shock of losing an early goal – and I’m backing them to finish off the job in style.

The Bhoys blew the Norwegians away with Odsonne Edouard again the star of the show with a well-taken double.

Last season Celtic won 1-0 in Trondheim after a 0-0 draw at home so they’ve improved – although conceding an away goal wasn’t on the menu.

However, the Hoops should make chances on the break and I’m backing them to win at 29/20 (William Hill). To qualify they are no bigger than 1/14 at Marathon.

Edouard will again be the attacking focus in the absence of Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths and the French star is 13/10 with William Hill to net and 4/1 to break the deadlock. To claim another double Edouard is 13/2 with William Hill.

I’ll happily have an interest in the French hot-shot striking again at odds-against quotes. Alternative scorers are James Forrest at 29/10 while Callum McGregor is 7/2.

Rosenborg will have to push forward and with Rodgers still short of defenders both to score looks on at 8/11 with William Hill and I also fancy Celtic and Both Teams To Score as an outside wager at 7/2 with Bet365.

Best Bets

Rosenborg v Celtic – Celtic to win (29/20 William Hill)

Rosenborg v Celtic – Odsonne Edouard to score at anytime (13/10 William Hill)
