Serie A – Eagles can overcome shot-shy Genoese

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) takes a look at Monday night's match from Serie A.

Lazio v Genoa | Monday 5th February 2018, 20:00 | BT Sport

Lazio stepped into a bad performance last week against AC Milan but I am confident they will be able to turn their form around when hosting Genoa on Monday.

The Biancocelesti played the semi-final first leg of the Coppa Italia on Wednesday, but a Monday night match should give the Romans enough time to rest before facing the Grifoni.

At the present day, Lazio are clear favourites for third, and they will aim at preserving their position ahead of Inter and city rivals Roma by picking up maximum points here. Moreover, Lazio are far superior than Genoa, especially in terms of goalscoring, where Lazio have 57 and Genoa just 16.

Such difference is almost embarrassing and I am confident backing again on Lazio's scoring form.

The Biancocelesti have an average of 2.80 goals scored per-game, at home, and should have no problems in repeating the same performance against Genoa. The absence of Sergej Milinkovic Savic should be compensated by the presence of Felipe Anderson and I am happy to back Lazio to win with Over 1.5 goals in the match at 8/11 (BetStars).
