Serie A – Atalanta can pick apart erratic Milan defence

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with his best Saturday selections.

Genoa v Benevento | Saturday 14:00

I’m backing Genoa to beat Benevento at home, as the visitors should be depressed again after succumbing to another comeback last week, this time surrendering to SPAL.

This is a key match in terms of a relegation battle for Genoa and I do think the home crowd will support the Grifoni strongly and their superior quality should tell.

Napoli v Sampdoria | Saturday 14:00

This is the most interesting match of the afternoon. I’ve often praised both teams for their style of play and this match has always provided goals in recent years thanks to the offensive mentality drilled by the two coaches.

On top of the goals bet I'll add Napoli to win as they seem to have found a new level of form after their recent defeat to Juventus.

Spal v Torino | Saturday 14:00

Spal are fighting a very intriguing battle to stay in Serie A, and while Benevento seem to be already down they are showing some interesting performances, especially from an offensive point of view.

At home, they’ve scored with regularity and that is why I am backing goals at both ends, also factoring in Torino’s offensive weapons.

AC Milan v Atalanta | Saturday 17:00 | BT Sport 2

Milan should play a very tight game in my opinion, but this might not be enough against Atalanta, who have showed to be very effective against big teams (ask Juventus or Lazio). Goals should flow in any case, especially considering Milan’s horrible defensive form.

Best Bets

Genoa v Benevento – Genoa to win and Over 1.5 Goals (3/4 Bet Stars)

Napoli v Sampdoria – Napoli to win and Over 2.5 Goals (4/7 Ladbrokes)

Spal v Torino – Both Teams To Score (8/11 Skybet)

AC Milan v Atalanta – Over 2.5 Goals (53/50 Marathon Bet)
