Scottish Football: Well can take derby day spoils, says Mr Fixit

DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixitstips) picks out his three best bets in Scotland from the weekend's action.

Hamilton v Motherwell | Saturday 14th October 2017, 15:00

Motherwell should take the Lanarkshire derby bragging rights at Hamilton.

Well have won four out of six league games and are unbeaten in half a dozen against Accies, with three wins and three draws.

September Player of the Month Louis Moult has a good record against Hamilton – six goals in the past four meetings – while the hosts are suffering an injury crisis with talisman Ali Crawford plus five other first-team players all ruled out.

Take Motherwell at 29/20 with Sportingbet.

Livingston v Dundee United | Saturday 14th October 2017, 15:00

In the Championship title chasers Dundee United are back on form and look a cracking price to win at Livi.

Striker Scott McDonald's return sparked wins against Morton and Dunfermline and they beat Linfield in the Irn-Bru Cup with kids.

Livi have performed well since being promoted but won just one of four at home.

United are worth backing at 7/4 with Marathon.

Raith v Arbroath | Saturday 14th October 2017, 15:00

Pacesetters Raith were rocked by Albion Rovers last time out in League One but bounced back by taking the scalp of Championship high-fliers St Mirren in the Irn-Bru Cup.

They can follow that up by cementing top spot at home to Arbroath.

Arbroath's last six have averaged nearly five goals so the best bet here is Raith and over 2.5 match goals at 5/4 with Ladbrokes.

Best Bets

Hamilton v Motherwell – Motherwell to win (29/20 Sportingbet)

Livingston v Dundee United – Dundee United to win (7/4 Marathon)

Raith v Arbroath – Raith to win and Over 2.5 Goals (5/4 Ladbrokes)
