Scottish Football: Caixinha confidence makes Gers value, says Mr Fixit

THE Daily Record's Mr Fixit (@mrfixitstips) picks out his three best bets in Scotland this weekend.

Rangers v Motherwell | Saturday 15:00

Bookies underestimated Rangers in new boss Pedro Caixinha's first game and look to have done so again this weekend … the April fools. Gers were around 4/9 to beat Hamilton before the international break and I was all over the Ibrox men to win by at least two at evens.

They duly romped to a 4-0 success and aren't much shorter at a best 3/10 with Stan James at home to Motherwell. Well are better than Accies but Caixinha's side looked assured in his opener as players build on the confidence gained under Graeme Murty.

I can't see anything but a home success and again recommend Rangers -1 at 4/5 with Paddy Power. Rangers have been dominant against the Fir Parkers this season, winning three and drawing one.

Motherwell also have a new manager in Steve Robinson but after five defeats in six it would take a massive leap of faith to back them at 11/1 with Bet365 or the draw at 26/5 at Marathonbet.

Inverness v Kilmarnock | Saturday 15:00

Inverness are only above bottom spot on goal difference and will have to go for goals on home soil. Stats fans will love this one – 10 of the last 11 meetings between Inverness and Killie in the Highlands have seen both teams to score.

Recent form also points to goals with seven of Killie's last eight Premiership games going btts and five of Caley's last six. Both teams to score is the pick here at 13/14 at 188BET.

Stirling Albion v Forfar | Saturday 15:00

In League Two, Stirling again did us a turn last week as they made it six wins in a row at Clyde. Bookies made them 14/5 and look to have it wrong again with Bet365 going 12/5 they floor Forfar at home.

Dave Mackay's men are now just five points off the play-offs while leaders Forfar have gone right off the boil with no wins in seven.
Back Stirling draw no bet at 6/4 with Bet365.

Best Bets

Rangers v Motherwell – Rangers -1 (4/5 Paddy Power)

Inverness v Kilmarnock – Both Teams To Score (13/14 188BET)

Stirling Albion v Forfar – Stirling Albion Draw No Bet (6/4 Bet365)
