Scottish Football: Edinburgh expects reckons Mr Fixit

THE Daily Record's Mr Fixit (@mrfixitstips) picks out his three best bets in Scotland this weekend.

Inverness v Aberdeen | Saturday 15:00

Caley Thistle have become a bit of a bogey team for the Dons and are unbeaten in the last four meetings. They've won the previous two at home and the goals usually flow when these two sides go head to head.

Five of the last six meetings have seen both teams score and Aberdeen have conceded in four of their last five away matches in the Premiership.
So both teams to score is the call here at 11/13 with 188BET.

Dumbarton v Raith | Saturday 15:00

Dumbarton were soundly beaten at home to Morton last week and Raith will be desperate for three points at The Rock in this Championship tussle.

The fixture has a history of goals with the last eight meetings producing an incredible 39 goals. Rovers have netted 20 of them so average 2.5 goals at The Rock and earlier this season won 4-3 at Stark's Park. I'm going with the stats and taking over 2.5 match goals at evens with Marathon.

Edinburgh City v Cowdenbeath | Saturday 15:00

Edinburgh still prop up League Two but are on a roll with three victories in a row after starting the season with an 18-game winless run in all competitions.

They host third-bottom Cowden whose victory over fellow strugglers Montrose last week was their first in eight attempts. City have momentum and home advantage on their side – they look big at 22/13 but I'll play safer by taking them draw no bet at 22/23 with Marathon.

Best Bets

Inverness v Aberdeen – Both Teams To Score (11/13 188BET)

Dumbarton v Raith – Over 2.5 Goals (Marathon Bet)

Edinburgh City v Cowdenbeath – Edinburgh City Draw No Bet (22/23 Marathon Bet)
