Scottish Football Tips | Mr Fixit’s Treble | 1st October 2016

THE Daily Record's Mr Fixit (@mrfixittips) shares his best bets Saturday's Scottish football.

Ross County v St Johnstone | Saturday 15.00

The goals have dried up for County – their last two games have been 0-0, making it five on the bounce that have seen Under 2.5 Goals.

Saints are pretty stingy as well and their last four have gone under while at Dingwall four of the last six meetings of these sides have had fewer than 1.5 goals.

I'm going for another tight affair and taking Under 2.5 Goals at 13/15 with Marathon.

St Mirren v Falkirk | Saturday 17.15 | BBC Alba

In the Championship, Falkirk can pile on the misery for managerless St Mirren.

The Bairns have won five in a row in all competitions and while Saints were better last week at Dunfermline conceding four goals suggests major problems at the back.

Take Falkirk at 23/20 with Coral.

Alloa v Airdrie | Saturday 15.00

Alloa were denied victory by a 93rd-minute Stenhousemuir equaliser last week but should get back to winning ways against Airdrie.

The Wasps remain top of the table and are always tough to handle on their plastic pitch where fellow title contenders Livingston are the only side to avoid defeat this season.

Airdrie are winless in four after their decent start hit the buffers and an Alloa victory is the call here at 8/11 with Coral.

Best Bets

Ross County v St Johnstone – Under 2.5 Goals (13/15 Marathon)

St Mirren v Falkirk – Falkirk to win (23/20 Coral)

Alloa v Airdrie – Alloa to win (8/11 Coral)
