Admit it? It's not a game that grabs you eh? Me neither. The Sunderland and Tottenham 2015/16 vintage has been a pretty rank tipple so far. But let's try and find an angle.

The North East club had sticks, stones, brickbats and We Love Dick banners thrown at them after their appalling opening two matches where they were convincingly beaten by Leicester and Norwich. Things have improved since then and they picked up draws against Swansea and Aston Villa.

Tottenham have been incredibly flat so far this season. A meek 1-0 defeat to equally meek Manchester United on the opening day was followed by a 2-2 home draw with Stoke (2-0 up), a 1-1 draw with Leicester and a stalemate against Everton.

New signings Fabio Borini (Sunderland) and Son Heung-min (Tottenham) will hopefully line up in this match to add some much-needed spice to it. The latter is certainly an interesting addition.

One thing you can't accuse Sunderland of is being goal shy. The Black Cats have scored six in their opening four games, double what Tottenham bring to the table. Alas though they've conceded 10 which is the second worst in the division – only, umm, err, Chelsea have a worse defence.

Yes, Sunderland have scored in every match this season and I'm willing to invest my faith in them again and back Both Teams To Score at 19/20 with 10 Bet. Tottenham should be too savvy overall so I'll have an interest in a 2-1 Spurs win at 17/2 with Bet365.
