FA Cup Final Tips | The Fans View

ARSENAL fanatic Louis Ross (@KingLouis2105) gives us his thoughts on Saturday's FA Cup Final from a Gunners point of view.

Arsenal v Aston Villa | Saturday 17:30 | BBC One

My view of this Final is fairly straightforward on paper. There is a clear gap in class between the two sides as demonstrated by the 3-0 & 5-0 Premier League wins for the favourites. However, my team has a horrible habit of starting slowly in big games.
No better demonstration of that than last year's Final when Hull were two up inside eight minutes. You would think lessons would be learned, but you only need to look at games against Monaco and the Semi Final against Reading to see that hasn't happened.
Tim Sherwood (despite the opinions of many) has, I think, done a magnificent job at Villa Park. Remember that when he arrived, they were by some distance, the lowest scorers of all 92 clubs.
Christian Benteke has looked like a player again and they have some real talent in midfield. Fabian Delph and Ashley Westwood are more than capable of controlling the game and in Jack Grealish have a potential match winner.
My thoughts this week have been that our performance could hinge on one selection. Theo Walcott or Olivier Giroud up front. If Walcott starts, I really believe this game could be very different to those horrible performances against Wigan, Hull and Reading. No I haven't forgotten the Birmingham game either.
Walcott looked like a player hungry to impress against West Brom last Sunday. If he has any future at The Emirates, it is as a striker. His hat-trick last Sunday, could well be the start of us seeing the real Theo. I believe Wenger will stay with the man in form.
I really cannot see anything but a record 12th win (had to get that in) for my team, slow start or not, but there is little value I can see there. What I do like is the goals market. There will be plenty surely.
I have backed Over 3.5 Goals at 11/5 with BetVictor. Neither team will park the bus and with keepers like David Ospina around, the net is bound to bulge a few times.
If Theo starts, Theo scores and my other selection is very much for after the teams are announced. Walcott to score two or more at 11/1. That is completely opposed to the wonderful @chrisgraham79 and he is far more knowledgeable than me when it comes to football betting. I am just a biased Gooner. Good luck all.

Best Bets

Arsenal v Aston Villa – Over 3.5 Goals (11/5 BetVictor)

Arsenal v Aston Villa – Theo Walcott to score 2 or more goals (20/1 Betway)
