AFTER a successful night on Wednesday, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) is back with another Coppa Italia preview.

Juventus v Fiorentina | Thursday 19:45 | Sky Sports 5

After a brilliant performance from Lazio and Napoli, Coppa Italia is heading to Turin where Juventus meet Fiorentina for the first leg of the second semi-final.

This is a competition Juventus never gave much importance to, despite holding the record of nine titles with Roma. We must go back to 1995 to find the last time the Bianconeri won this competition.

Juventus have reached this stage via a soft draw. Verona and Parma were eliminated as Juve rotated their best players. This round probably won’t be much different, with coach Max Allegri likely to rest some of his stars after the boring match on Monday against Roma.

On the other hand Fiorentina will be very determined to reach their second consecutive Coppa Italia final. Vincenzo Montella’s team recently eliminated Tottenham in the Europa League and his team has become much more solid this season.

I think the Viola should play with all their best players on Thursday. Although players like Stefan Savic and Borja Valero will be unavailable, the offensive line will still have Joaquin, Mario Gomez and Mohamed Salah, whose impact has been outstanding so far.

Summing up, I can't trust Juventus' starting XI enough. Their midfield is absolutely brilliant, but I think they're rotating too much in the other zones. This makes me consider the 6/4 from Coral on the Fiorentina Double Chance.

I will also consider a bet at 4/5 on Fiorentina simply to score a goal. Their attacking trio and moreover the questionable Juventus defence makes me consider this bet great value.
